Salt Lake City
We went to Salt Lake City for a snowboarding trip with Ray’s sister and her boyfriend. I had never been snowboarding or skiing before, and I don’t think I will go again hahaha. First of all I’m not meant to be in cold weather. I have terrible circulation and my hands and feet are always cold, even in 70 degree Fahrenheit weather, so needless to say in 15 degree weather, my body wasn’t craving some warmth! And then on top of that I failed miserably at snowboarding… Ray and I had a private lesson and Ray pretty seamlessly picked it up, while I was struggling to grasp the basics. I didn’t want to waste much time and wanted Ray to enjoy the experience so I warmed up with some cocoa in the lodge and Ray enjoyed snowboarding.
We did some small hikes and even saw some birds but I decided to cut my trip a bit short so that I could prepare for my upcoming Yoga Teacher Training which was less than a week later, and so that Ray could keep snowboarding without me holding him back! (Click to see photos full size)
