Zion National Park
The day after visiting Bryce, we spent the afternoon at Zion National Park. We just so happened to be there on a Saturday, and a holiday, and therefore it was incredibly busy. We were looking for a trailhead with parking and having lots of difficulty. We almost gave up and just left the park when we found an open spot. It was near a canyoning route. We explored a small portion of the nearby slot canyon and did a little bit of this canyoning route. Just exploring a small taste of the magnificence of this area. Since there was no available and easy camping nearby we decided to head to Capitol Reef after our short exploration of Zion. (Click photos to view full size)
