Redwoods!
Ray and I wanted to start “adventuring” as soon as possible after we got our new van! Our first stop was Northern California and a visit to many Redwood forests! We were amazed by these ginormous, magnificent trees, as well as how lush the forests were filled with ferns and moss. It is a wonderful feeling to explore this kind of forest and feel so small amongst nature’s beauty. Seeing how the light filters thru the trees, the heavy cool feeling of mist, and the smell, so very fresh. We absolutely loved visiting Fern Canyon, and Arcata Community Forest.
