Osa Peninsula

As a celebration for my 30th birthday, my incredibly generous mom took Ray and me to Costa Rica for three weeks! She planned the whole trip which included various destinations all around the country. Our first stop was to the Osa Peninsula! We took quite an adventurous boat ride from Sierpe to our hotel, Jaguar Jungle. It was a heck of a way to kick off this spectacular trip! This hotel was in a stunning location, with gorgeous coastal views and MONKEYS right in the view of our oceanfront cottage where we were staying!!!! Just wow… could you ask for anything more as a wildlife lover!? During our time there, my mom had arranged multiple tours, a night hike, a tour of Corcovado National Park, a kayak adventure, and a snorkel trip!! The Jaguar Jungle is an amazing place to stay and I would definitely recommend it if you are planning a visit to the Osa Peninsula. All meals were included, the accommodations were stunning, and there was so much to do and explore with friendly and knowledgeable guides right on site. It is also a small property so it doesn’t feel crowded or busy. (Click photos to view full size)
