Coral Pink Sand Dunes, Utah
One of the freedoms of living and traveling the way we do, in a van is that we are not usually tied to a specific schedule and destinations. We have a list of a ton of places that we want to visit and explore, but we try to never make rigid plans, because we have noticed that there are so many incredible places that aren’t on our radar and we serendipitously stumble upon them. On this specific night, we had planned to go somewhere else, but as we were driving I saw a sign for Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park, and as Ray was driving, I googled it, it looked incredible, and so we decided to go there. Just like that! And even better there was a vast amount of BLM land to camp on for free. Check out the videos where we discuss boondocking in our new van, and “a day in the life”.
